for many North Americans ,but they are used to fiction and feel more comfortable with fairytales instead of the truth,

Many blindly believe that our fate is in Gods hands ,and their focus is on the beautifull heaven that awaits ,they are not to concerned with the world their children will inherrit

whilst others wish to enjoy an Earthly paradise ,with out having to die first,they care what happens here and want to help the planet

there may come a time that for the sake of our survival the two views will be seperated in to Enemies and friends of the planet

World leaders are not concerned with the well being of the masses ,on the contrary .it was stated at a conference in Copenhagen,in 1998,by Kissinger, that the Agenda demanded a decrease in the world population of 60%,and you cannot achieve this if you start saving everybody.

scientists who work for politicians ,get paid by these politicians and they have downplayed the facts because solutions are expensive and means change and change effects many peoples incomes,and upsets profit margins,so most of the world is kept in the dark of the real things that are going on.for political and economic reasons

HOWEVER CLIMATE CHANGE IS FACT FOR MILLIONS
Global warming is a very complex collection of many effects

this text only covers some aspects of global warming mainly man made desertification

industrial contamination ,the contaminating effects of the cities ,is another story

there are natural cycles in the planets life
but mans existance has its effects,and this is increasing with overpopulation,putting strains on Natural resources and increasing contaminations as well as destructions of essential componants the ensure living conditions for all life forms

in North Africa,India,Mexico ,millions of people are effected by land loss and desertification and some have died as a result

in china, thousands of what used to be farmers are running for their lives from the dust storms that have burried their towns and turned their lands into dessert,

,the Sahara is growing by 7 kilometers a year
and all of the desserts we know are a results of mans actions ,and they are increasing ,not getting less ,in the dinosaurs days ,there were very few desserts.

collectively this planet is drying up because of bad farming practices like,over grazing and fertilizers,

each degree rise in temperature means 10%crop loss

and there is less and less water (because of deforestation),to irrigate this production ,
and there are less and less farmers to do it..
and there are 70 million more peole every year that have to eat and drink and wash

who are overpumping deep carbon aquifiers
who are plowing more and more unstable lands because they have lost so many million hectares to desertification ,
because of bad farming practises ,such as using fertilizers and heavy machinary or over grazing

RISING SEAS
The northpole is melting ,and we will know it without ice in our life times.
this does not affect the sea level because it is ice that is already in the water.but the melting ice from Green land and the south pole ,are another matter.

Nuclear power rocks!!! Obama’s against nuclear power. To me it’s more about smart energy, Global Warming is a natural process has very little affect on what a president decides. Are humans the cause of Global Warming on the other planets that are millions of miles away, I think not.
This has more to do with the activity of the Sun — solar flares, and the solar wind. The Sun’s warming changes affects all Planets equally. Not just Earths.

They both want to reduce oil consumption and move towards alternate energy sources. Obama wants to cover the freaking country in windmills and McCain wants to go dig for oil in Alaska while the over-paid government scientists are twiddling their thumbs. It can’t solely be up to some douche-bag we elect in to office to fix all of our problems for us. Go tell your social studies class that the American people are the ones that got into this mess and we (as a new generation) need to help dig this country and the whole world out of it. We can’t keep relying on others to fix our world. They aren’t going to do it. We have to help ourselves.

Environmental collapse, and it’s much closer than most people care to think about.

Nothing will ever convince everyone, or even a large majority. When there is no denying its happening, some will say its too late to do anything, the rest will say its some gods wrath for gays or non believers or whatever they like, just not their fault.

The sun needs to burn out, and our planet continue to heat up. Now that would change my mind.

Our how about people who believe it is man made, actually come up with some scientific facts to back up their case. Sorry, using the lame “consensus” arguement has never worked in science. BTW, how is “The World is Flat” consensus going for you?

It doesn’t matter if its caused by man or not .The only way man will unite is if some major catastrophe happens . Same with the terrorist we was warned for years that they may do something in our country but we did nothing to stop it until 911 . And all though the world knows that they are out there we are still being looked at by other country’s that we shouldn’t be there defending ourselves . Its the same with global warming .Take a look at allot of the answers on hear they are calling global warming a religion putting people down for caring whats going on in the world . Guess what those non believers are just like the non believers in terrorist that got all those people killed in the new york twin towers for simply not believing and convincing others that its just a hoax those are the same kind of people that may get allot of people killed from global warming simply because they don’t believe and they have to make sure that no one believes with them . It looks like we would have figured out that its better to be safe then sorry but as it goes i think the rich would rather keep there income coming in then to save lives.

One more thing you all keep buying your china junk that the rich mans selling you and there going to have all your children with lead poisoning and who knows what there going to sell you next. Be American and buy American .Get rid of the rich man selling junk from other countrys . Wake up America do you realy think those other countrys like us.

I think the only affect on nature that could truly unite people on the issue, would be a planet-wide storm that harmed millions of people. Something drastic enough such as an ice age, unreasonable amounts of rain or snowfall; again, something that is a global event. Isolated events aren’t enough to bring each country together on this problem (unfortunately).

The scientists who refute global warming are probably paid by the companies that contribute the largest amounts of pollution. Sadly that is enough to convince unreasonable and uneducated people that global warming scenarios are a hoax. (Stop attacking Al Gore and look at the information. Think of the polar bears, people!)

As a final note, I think people are afraid of accepting the problem, which is a big mistake. By the time everybody accepts it, it will be too late.
